Laying Tool ~ Slim & Small* Ergonomic *This little laying tool was designed to fit neatly in the palm of your hand. Feather light and slim, but well balanced, with enough of a bead at the back to keep your grip comfortable. I turned this one-of-a-kind, 4-1/4" tool from a block of my favorite, specialized hardwood -- a dyed, laminated birch that's super smooth, and virtually waterproof. This one has a "spear point" which is fairly sharp and tiny enough to pick up the finest stitches. ~ GAELIC ~ is what I call this color combination! The point can always be sharpened with a touch of fine sandpaper (if you want to use it as an awl) and arrives with a protective sheath.
