It is a pocket sized plastic box with white integral palette, additional sliding palette, medium dish, 14 half pans and 1 brush. It has a detachable lid for easy cleaning. It also has a detachable sliding palette and extra mixing space. It will hold both half pans and whole pans and 1 8ml tube. It has a thumb hole for comfort in use. Cotman water colors possess good transparency, with excellent tinting strength and working properties. The 14 colors are lemon yellow hue, cadmium yellow hue, ultramarine, cerulean blue hue, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, cadmium red pale hue, cadmium red hue, alizarin crimson hue, purple lake, sap green, viridian hue, burnt umber, and chinese white.
