Steel Figure Stamps 1/4" & 1/8" numbers 1/8" letters
This is a complete set of steel figures in 1/4" and 1/8" numbers and 1/8" letters. These were sold by Sear's Roebuck and Co. sometime about thirty years ago so I don't know who actually made them. They are in very good condition and were used for only one job, marking small plates that were attached to gauge and tool boxes and had serial numbers that matched the gauges. My dad was making these for the Tool Crib who had sold the gauges to TVA. I think he made about 35 boxes, each custom crafted for a particular gauge, felt lined and painted with fire retardant paint. All of the numbers and letter are here, including a period in the letter set, and they are in almost new condition. These will ship to you well protected in bubble wrap by USPS Priority Mail.
