She is made of Vinyl with a jointed cloth body. Her vinyl is so detailed. She came to me as toy Berenguer doll and has now, thru the art of reborning, been transformed into a beautiful, lifelike newborn girl.Look at her new skin tone! And what an expression on her sweet face. She is so very realistic. To achieve Vannessa's new skin tone, she was handpainted using my own special method.The skin tone of each doll created is unique. For each doll, the paint is custom blended to create the perfect skin tone.. No 2 dolls will ever have exactly the same complexion.I use the highest quality mediums. Painting is done one layer at a time. Usually several layers are needed to get just the right 3D effect. Highlighting is also done.Her new complexion goes great with her hair color. Many, many hours went into her painting. Her hair is dark brown.  It has been hand rooted. She has a full head of hair. It looks as if it is growning wight out of her scalp. Her hair is rooted with mohair. Mohair is very soft and feels much like a real babies hair does. For added durability, I have also sealed her hair from the inside of her head.You can mist her hair with water or gel to get a more wavy look.She has been given hand applied eyelashes. Just take a look at her hands and feet. The vinyl is so detailed. She has 1/4 vinyl limbs. Each finger and toenail has been given a baby manicure to give them the just clipped look. Weighting and bodyThe weighting of the baby is so important. You want her to cuddle right up in your arms. Vannessa will. She is so soft and very poseable.She has a jointed cloth body.  It is filled with soft poly fill and she has sealed sandbag in her rearend. She is weighted with sealed sand in her head and limbs.She can be posed in so many cute positions.Her head can also be turned.   Vannessa has had her nose sculpted opened. It is backed with felt for a look of depth.Her mouth is handpainted and sealed.   Included with Vannessa are the following:Beautiful 3 piece footed outfit. It has such a pretty pattern of flowers.
