This pattern is especially wonderful those that don’t have a Ribber with their machines! It’s also great for those that don’t like, or want a ribbed hem, cuff, or sweater bottom! This pattern adds an absolutely fantastic and Professional looking straight hem to dresses, skirts, sleeves, pant legs, cuffs, sweaters – etc!   For those of you that have tried to knit a straight hemline on a garment, I’m sure you’re well aware of the fact that no matter what you do, or how you block your finished garment – the hemline simply will not hang straight. It will almost always “flare out” away from the rest of the piece, or in some cases curl up - which greatly diminishes the look of the finished garment.   This technique eliminates that problem! It’s a very simple technique to follow and will work with any machine and any garment piece! Personally I prefer a straight hem at the bottom of my sweaters rather than a ribbed hem. I feel its much more figure flattering, and in most cases adds a dressier look to the garment.   Once you’ve learned this technique you’ll absolutely love it!!!
