The length measures 35" to the knot with a 8" tassel ~ total length 3 feet, 7 inches (hanging alone). Most hangers will shorten 1 to 2 inches with plant pot in holder. Shown with a plant pot that measures 9 inches across the top, 7 inches deep and 5 inches across the base, this pretty hanger will hold various medium/large size plant pots and baskets that would best be fit once you have it!
