GLYCERINE BASED MELT & POUR SOAP THIS IS FOR 6 POUNDS OF GLYCERINE MELT & POUR COCONUT OIL SOAP   Coconut oil soap lathers beautifully and is extremely gentle on your skin.     Common Uses: Cleansing agent. Bars of glycerin soap.     Coconut Oil is the best treatment to heal, protect, and beautify your skin!   The small molecular structure of coconut oil allows for easy absorption through the skin, giving it a soft, smooth texture.  It makes an ideal ointment for the relief of dry, rough and wrinkled skin.  Psoriasis and eczema suffers often see great improvements in these distressing conditions.  Coconut oil will not only bring temporary relief to the skin, but it will aid in healing and repairing.  It will have lasting benefits, unlike most lotions.  It can help bring back a youthful appearance.  The coconut oil will aid in removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother. The skin will become more evenly textured with a healthy "shine".  While doing this the coconut oil will penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues. Coconut oil will absorb easily, keep the skin soft, and yet without feeling greasy.  It is not like other oils used to soften rough, dry skin.    In the making of soaps, the soap does not have a tallow smell nor the smell of a vegetable oil.  Instead, it has a nice fresh smell and yields a nice fluffy lather.Coconut oil is one of the most popular oils used in soap making.       These Melt and Pour Soap Bases are proprietary formulas developed by leading industry chemists and proudly made in the USA. These bases are hypo-allergenic, low sweat, easy to unmold and have no offensive chemical odors. The clear bases are very, very clear and the white bases are snow white.     You will find melt & pour soap bases moisturizing and long-lasting with superior lather. Slice off what you need, melt and pour into your favorite soap molds. Soap crafting doesn't get any easier! Basic Melt & Pour Directions: Contrary to what you may have heard, making great, quality soaps is one of the easiest things you can do. It's really just as easy as melt, add color, add fragrance, pour into a mold, let completely harden, remove and you have a great bar of soap ready to use! Step 1: Melt your soap. The easiest way to melt the soap base is in the microwave oven!  Melt your soap completely, stopping the melting process to stir once in awhile until your soap base is completely melted. (or if you choose you can melt it in a double boiler) Step 2: If desired, add your dye. Be sure you are using a skin safe dye for your soap products. Do not ever use candle dye as candle dye will stain your skin! Add small amounts at a time, stirring throughout the process until you get your desired effect. Step 3: Add your desired fragrance oil. Be sure the fragrance oil you choose is skin safe. The ratio of fragrance oil to soap base should only be .5 (1/2) oz of fragrance oil per LB of soap. (if using essential oils the recommended amount is 1 tsp. per pound of soap and not more than 1 tbls. fragrance oil per pound of soap) Step 4: Stir well. Pour into a soap mold and let sit until the soap is completely hardened and cool. Sometimes air bubbles may form when you pour into your molds, if that happens simply use a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol and spray the bubbles, they will disappear immediately. Step 5: Let your soap harden and cool completely. Once it is ready remove it and you have a wonderful bar of soap that will produce great lather throughout the entire bar! Use and enjoy!
